A little guide to looking closer.

  1. Open the picture. Find the one detail that does not belong in the scene.
  2. Zoom and scroll to inspect the full 4K artwork. Tap or click a detail, enter your explorer name, then confirm.
  3. Use arrow keys to move a selection. Hold Shift for smaller steps. Enter marks the center or submits your selection.
  4. A wrong answer adds the displayed time penalty. The clock carries on until your first correct answer. Reloading, changing tabs and leaving the app do not pause a daily run.
  5. Reveal a cue with a button, or enable hover cues and move over the scene. Cues appear once for their configured duration; the same cue cannot be restarted. Cues put your result on the assisted leaderboard.
  6. Share your result without spoiling the picture. A new friend's first qualifying daily solve can earn one clue for the next UTC day when referrals are enabled. One reward per inviter per day; no credit for merely clicking or sharing.

One picture, every day

Each daily puzzle runs from midnight to midnight UTC. Artwork and rules are reviewed by a human and then frozen. If no approved scene is scheduled, an original local demo is available for unranked practice.

Time and fair play

Daily scores use server time from opening the image session to a correct answer, plus wrong-answer penalties. This includes network and image-loading time: the server cannot verify the exact instant a browser displays pixels. Your on-screen clock follows that record. There is no reset or pause action. Clearing identity data or using another device creates a different guest; guest rankings are casual competition, without prizes or verified identities.

Usernames are public aliases, may be shared by different people, and are not verified accounts. Keep names appropriate and avoid personal information. Assisted and unassisted solves have separate rankings.

Practice and accessibility

The demo has an untimed option with long-lived cues. Zoom, keyboard selection and cue buttons support mouse, touch and keyboard. This is a visual recognition game, so its core challenge still depends on seeing the artwork. Daily play needs an internet connection; the installed app can offer local practice offline.

Install it
